Cocaine Dipstrip Drug Urine Test

For the quick, qualitative finding of COC and primarily benzoylecgonine as metabolites in urine it’s better to use our amazing product Cocaine (COC) Drug Test (it’s a simple one step rapid immunochromatographic assay).
The cutoff of the test is 300 ng/ml of COC - identical as the SAMHSA proposed assay cutoff. As a matter of fact that cocaine cam be ingested by smoking, intravenous, intranasal or oral administration, and as a result excreted in the urine primarily as benzoylecgonine after a while. Call your attention to the fact that Benzoylecgonine has a longer biological half-life (5 to 8 hours) than cocaine (0.5 to1.5 hours) and can in general be noticed for 24 to 80 hours later than cocaine use or exposure.

1. From the very beginning you should remove the test strip from its foil pouch.
2. After that you should carefully dip it into the specimen holding the strip upright. Do not submerge the strip past the maximum line (Figure 1).
3. You can understand test results in 3 to 5 minutes.
Explanation of the test:
1. As the test kit begins to work, a color band will appear at the left section of the result window to show that the test is working properly. This band is the Control Band.
2. The right section of the result window indicates the test results. If another color band appears at the right section of the result window, this band is the Test Band.
Negative: two color bands can be visible. The emergence of two color bands in the result window points to a negative test result. No COC higher than the cut-off level has been discovered. Don’t worry if the color of the Test band will be lighter or darker than that of the Control Band.
>Positive: only one color band can be visible. The emergence of only one color band in the control zone signifies the result is positive, i.e. the specimen contains COC at a concentration above the cut-off level.
Invalid: call your attention that a distinct color band should always become visible in the left section of the result window. The test is invalid if no color band forms in the left section of the result window.
Note. A very pale band in the right section of the result window, noticeable in 5 minutes, signifies that the quantity of COC in the sample is near or less than the cut-off level of the test. The urine specimen should be retested, or proved with a more specific alternative method for example gas chromatography/mass spectrometry, earlier than a positive determination is made.
